CORROSION IN THE PINK ROOM (6:06) VIDEO

Thanks to MOB for settling the 'Early Flights Vol 3 Track 14' quarry.

I've got another question:

How many seperate recordings of CORROSION/LIBEREST SPACEMENT MONITON are there?

I count three, but I'm not sure that's all of them.

I downloaded a Youtube video bit called "Corrosion In The Pink Room".
Is there more of that, or is that six minutes all there is?

In addition to this video, I've got audio for two seperate recordings:

1.) Hamburg 1970
2.) Gothenburg 1970

Both of these show up in various ways on various roio's, including 'Pictures Of Pink Floyd', which transistions
into the Embryo.

So, by my count, including the six minute video, there are 3 of them, unless the six minute video is the same
as either of the two audio tracks, which I don't think it is, though there is some 'pict ranting' by Waters
and Gilmour toward the end of the video, and I know one of the roio audio shows has something titled 'pict'
following 'Corrosion.

If anyone out there has the answer, or info relating to this unusual piece of music, and particularly
the video, that would be cool.

I think these 6 minutes are all that is available, but perhaps you better get the Roland Petit Ballet DVD. There it is included as a bonus in far better quality than youtube...

Thanks creamcheese, I'll see if I can track that one down.

It's facinating to think what might still be out there. I listened to that
'1975' Pink Floyd interview that got posted recently, and John Peel
mentioned a tape the Floyd made just for him of Interstellar Overdrive.
He said he used to listen to it everyday, till his house got burglerized
and the tape got stolen. Oh man... to be at one of those outdoor Floyd concerts in the late 60's had to be just too cool.

You forgot...there are FOUR recordings of this piece, that most people call "Moonhead."
The BBC documentary for "What If It's Just Green Cheese?" the Apollo 11 moon landing (yes, the VERY first one wth Neal Armstrong and Buzz Aldren) broadcast on the day of said landing, July 19, 1969.
This was also the first time they ever performed it, and they have said that they improvised it entirely on the fly as they watched the lunar lander move into position before it finally descended to the surface.
Fantastic bit of stuff from the boys, too.

Thanks Oldpink. You are right about moonhead. Going to load up my
moonheads and give them all a listen. If memory serves me right, there
isn't a 'high quality' version of any of these, but maybe I missed it.

What I like about the Corrossion video, is that the audio is nice and clear.
In fact, I think I'd like to rip the audio, just to have in the same folder as
Hamburg/Gothenburg (Corrossion/Liberest).

FWIW, a few months ago, someone DID post the audio of the "Pink Room Corrosion" video.
I don't have the time to locate it on here at the moment, but you shoudl be able to track down the link.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find it.

edit {ok, there's several audio/video tracker entries for 'Ballet' material ...should have enough info to sort it out.}

Oops!
Here it is.

I looked more closely at the video torrent, and it includes a FLAC file of the audio only.
I also see two seeds, so download away.
;)
