I have this dvd,. but that's about the extent of it,
It's labeled: "Pink Floyd 8-15-1971 Get To Know - Australian TV"
I have no record of WHERE I got it, it's lineage, source, provider, torrents, .txt file, .md5's.. nothing.
It consists of:
careful w/ that axe, interview, & set the controls (audio used during credits)
black & white footage, but very good quality.
if anyone has record of this, or md5s & txt, I'd be happy to reseed.
thanks in advance.

Interesting bit, I have only this, but I'd be willing to bet there are any of a number of chaps who would have at the least some idea. Nice offer, however; we need to watch about uploading things like that which may contain any officialy released material, like recordings of tunes or portions thereof that may be on things such as this. As cool as it may be, I would hold off on it until TJ or FOP or Will or other Staff has had a crack at this and a bit more info comes about it.
From PF-roio (http://www.pf-roio.de/voio/TV.html) (Site not updated)
"15.8.71: Get To Know (Australian TV)
Pink Floyd's only visit to Australia in the 70s, consisting of just two shows, was captured on film ar their second show at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney. The extract in cirulation was shot in daylight and features >>Careful With That Axe, Eugene<< with music dubbed from "Ummagumma". A pre-recorded band-interview was also shown at the timeof broadcast but remains in the vaults."
From Outside the Wall (http://www.outsidethewall.net/timeline.html)

I have traded with an Australian who sent me some PAL tapes to convert to DVD for him, in addition to the material on the GTK dvd, there are at least 2 other pieces that are of similar origin, they have the GTK logo and have odd visuals set to Shine On 1-5 and STC (studio version)...a few aussie chicks walking on sand dunes, huge air balloons, very strange but they apparently someone toyed around with some stock footage to make more pointless video...it's hard to believe that a national network would use music released in 1975 (Shine On) to add on to a B & W travelogue...I think it's a fan oriented thing, the GTK dvd is the only material that is of note from this entire bunch, I can't figure out what this is that this guy sent me...I can post it if anyone just wants it out of curiousity...
