Portable or static use? I got a Tascam HD-P2 for home use, transferring tapes and whatever. I love it for that. It's not good for stealthing though!

This looks pretty sweet - have you used this one before? I got tix to the Aussie Floyd shows in the fall here in St. Louis and I'd like to capture & post.

I have not... but I know a few who have.

I have recorded three concerts with my Zoom H4 and I think they turned out good. Two concerts, Bob Dylan and Roger Waters (The Moon Has Landed In The Globe), were indoors (the round Globe in Stockholm) and I had seats far from stage. I recorded using only the in-built mics(set mic gain to medium). Third concert was Roky Erickson, outdoors and I used the same settings. I really like this H4, as it is small, easy to set and it fits my handbag or the pocket on my friend's jacket perfect.
