So they messed up again without supplying a spindle for the discs. I would avoid this collection completely because of the review Jimfisheye gave with the Pompeii disc. Why did they not check up the Bootlegs for Pompeii?

I'm afraid I agree with JFE about these new album mixes... I tried listening to the 'secret' Meddle that got let out, but had to switch off after the transition from the trippy bit of OoTD into the coda... it sounded positively unnatural! Just more cash-ins, I'm inclined to say (like many others), these upteenth remasters of classic albums. A bit like Led Zep does these days.

As shocking and disappointing of a disaster that this is, I would still highly recommend this set. The good outweighs the bad by quite a lot. The ruined mixes are a very high profile part of the content and in your face for sure. (And the BBC content and the CD content to be sold separately in HD instead of being included on the blurays.) They have the Pompeii files. Mistakes still unfortunately happen.Quote:

It's interesting, to me anyway. This whole set, depending on the size of the Continu/ation BD 1 will come in under 180gb probably. One of the BD discs are 11gb, a couple are 15gb, and couple around 20gb. Only two so far are BD50's with one at 27gb and another at 32gb. The entire set could have theoretically fit on four BD50's.
