At the same session as those John Latham takes there's also a track listed called "Intremental"(sic) lasting 10 minutes.
Is it possible that the 10 minute instrumental was edited from the John Latham takes, for use as the film soundtrack?

According to Julian Palacios book ark Globe, Intrememental was the title of the tune performed for John Lathams film "Speak"

Aha, so my guess was correct! A shame the upcoming release doesn't contain the 10-minute edit. People will have to use those 9 takes and edit it themselves.

Ah, ok. It's such a shame none of the studio sessions have ever leaked (apart from a handful of tracks), unlike the plethora of Beatles sessions that are available.
