BTW, thank you, Beechwoods! Glad to do what I can to clarify things for all of us, me included. It makes it so much easier to make sense of it all, something I've been trying to do since I began trundling around on two legs (well, before that, even).
Interesting. Never knew about a recorder 3 for 1971-11-20. Is it available? Cheers.
Would you like to send our coloured cousins home again, my friend?

Sadly, no. The 8-track master "bit the dust" (to use John H.'s phrase) no later than 1997 or so, and probably long before that (maybe as early as the late 1970s), with no surviving copies.

So that's R3, long gone -- and I think I've found information about a separate R4 that's also lost and destroyed!

We could do a whole thread of lost and vanished recorders. 1971-11-20 R3 (and now maybe R4), the rest of 1973-03-05, 1973-03-18 Waterbury (the real one), 1980-02-11, the 1971 show in Scotland that Orgone Accumulator looked into, the 1970-03-21 tape that's never surfaced...

    Default 1969-10-11 Essen

This most definitely needs a place here, I don't think tezeta will mind for it to replace his mix.

I do nothing, you guys do all the heavy lifting! I wish I had time (and inclination) for listening to all versions, but that's just not possible these days. I appreciate having this resource myself when I do want to reach out for a show.

Of course, I blink and you guys flood me with updates... will trickle them in...
