Default New Unedited Pink Floyd Interviews On You Tube

Unedited interview for the PF & SB Story for BBC by John Edginton.
    These are new to me.

    Hopefully new to others here.

    Enjoy.

    Cheers

    Hi Halucallation.

Are these the same length as the DVD interviews ?

John Edington the director has stated these are longer version.

    Cheers

I commented on the Wright interview that I would love to see the complete 90 minutes, and I got this response: One day perhaps......
So who knows if the full length interviews will be uploaded some day

I did not compared them. If they are indeed longer than what was included on deluxe DVD set, then i'm stand corrected.

I revisited these and was struck by all of the references to Syd being a Bo Diddley fan. I then happened to listen to Octopus shortly after and it immediately hit me that the rhythm guitar during the Octopus is a Bo Diddley beat. You might say Rats has a little of it too, but it's a bit of stretch.

These 4 unedited interviews were already available on the 2-DVD version "The Definitive Edition" released in 2005: https://www.discogs.com/fr/Various-S...elease/5328555

I checked and the lengths are the same:
    - on DVD1: Roger Waters interview (54:11)
    - on DVD2: David Gilmour interview (35:32), Rick Wright interview (26:05), Nick Mason interview (27:21)

I'm trying to convince John Edginton to release the full length interviews. He seems keen to release them, but he says that it's difficult because it was all filmed on tape that's no longer widely used.
I've tried to direct him to Yeeshkul and AFG to ask if someone would kindly help.
But it might be better if someone approaches him directly via YouTube.
