Hi guys
I'd like to know if there is anyone who has the same problem with connecting music and politics like me.
As a university graduate in geography I know that a lot of things have very complex connections between themselves and it takes a lot of effort to understand them. There isn't simple right or wrong for complex things like politics from ordinary citizen point of view. And musicians, who are able to to make beatiful art (music) are destroying it for me with their politic views (Waters, Pearl jam, Yorke etc.). Hell, they are not educated in it, I think they have too much work with composing and playing gigs to gain enough information to make yes/no opinion, why should they tell the whole world about it?
Noone except a few people in the world knows if Bush invaded countries for oil, surely noone can tell if the world order is governed by huge corporations. I don't like people who believe movies feeding people one-side-point-of-view information about these things (Zeitgeist, 9/11 Truth etc) and a lot of my favourite artists seem that they love these. And it pi*ses me.
Anyone has a same problem?
