Apologies if I should just read it somewhere but which 2/3 songs is Syd said to be playing on? I believe I can hear examples of prominent Syd-style playing in the samples but could be wrong. The MP3 quality on them is really bad btw - very metallic. Don't know whether Amazon always sounds like this.

Yeah that is pretty cool. For all his psychedelic leanings, Syd tapped into that earlier Bo Diddley and Buddy Holly groove, with a emphasis on percussive rhythm.

Had a listen to the samples and I would say "not bad" ... I would certainly listen to this album (sometimes), but I agree with others that it's really for Barrett completists only.
