    I actually liked it very much...but I see why some people won't

    Ignoring the people who naturally wouldn't like it because they just don't like that phase of the band, being 99% instrumental usually does not appeal to the larger audience.

    It goes a lot like On An Island...some people (like me) love it, some find it hard to keep awake while it's playing

    But it could very well be the most beautiful album that the band ever made (I'd still put Division Bell above it)
    Beautiful =/= best

    Pretty good.
    I prefer it to On An Island, but not as good as Davids new one.

    Endless River is well done album in style of Pink Floyd's sound. It has well recognized synth notes by Rick (as Gilmour told that album was made from old recordings). But sometimes I find it a little bit depressive...

    The transition from surfacing to LTW is one of the best moments on record for Floyd.

    I don't like :

    A Momentary Lapse of Reason
    The Division Bell
    The Endless River

    I bought the Endless River on both Vinyl and CD, and they are both still sealed. Just to complete the collection

    Is it me, don't know, my wife like all of the post Waters era albums.

    animals Endless River Thoughts

    It's the longest intro to a song with lyrics ever!
    BUT! I enjoyed it for what it was. You can hear a lot of the different periods in the band's history throughout the record and a few issues back in Prog magazine they did a review of it which gave it some good insight. It's a nice compilation of ideas from years gone by and new ideas put on to record so like every Floyd album you sit back with your tea and absorb it all in.

    I love it (voted 'sublime'). I think it's the best full stop to an illustrious career as well as being a lovely way to remember Rick (but Nick and David prove to be no slouches on this record, either).

    I got the BD and it's a rare treat when I can plonk myself down in my sweet spot and be enveloped in the soundscape the band have created.
