RIP ravinganddrooling aka Posty ... didn't know you personally but I admire your courage, especially in continuing to record shows to share with others after battling a horrible illness. That speaks volumes in itself. I will have a drink to toast you this evening
and will also yell out "freebird" at the next show I go to, just for you
Cheers,
Phred

Sad day
I'm so sad, so sad. Jeff was my very best friend in the Floydian community. We 'spoke' over the net at least once a week since 2007. I started doing artwork for his recordings back then and a we developed a deep friendship, though we never met in life. He was a warm, gentle and funny man. I will miss him deeply.

I just spoke to Diane, Jeff's wife, and she wanted me to pass on a few things.
She knows about the pouring in of love for Jeff, from his email groups to the forums where shared his recordings, and she thanks you all for your kind words.
Jeff passed very peacefully, just the way he wanted to go. He fell asleep a couple of days ago and slowly drifted off yesterday. Diane was with him at the time.
She was especially appreciative of the Yeeshkul and AFG Forum members, especially Colin for his friendship and generosity. There are others that were close to him, too numerous to mention.
And lastly, that his hard drives of all his recordings and all that he's collected are safe in good hands and we're going to figure out a way to make sure that his legacy is properly preserved and carries on.
Thank you so much for all of your heartfelt thoughts.
Ron
