Default Help identifying 1987 footage [update: "Mystery Date" identified!]

EDIT: Solved, and the "Mystery Date" has been identified.

I spotted this curious looking VHS tape for sale on eBay a while back while browsing for some unrelated Japanese fusion records, and I figured I'd take the gamble and pick it up.

The video is nothing special to look at - the majority of the tape is a higher-generation copy of the 1987-11-16 footage that's on the Mizzoora Blooz DVD. The picture quality is quite bad at best. Lots of generational loss.

However, there's some extra footage on the tape that appears to be from one or more different shows - there's a mostly complete Terminal Frost at the beginning of the tape, and a partial One of These Days and the intro of Time. The end of the tape also has One Of These Days taken from a Japanese release of Delicate Sound of Thunder which I won't upload for obvious reasons.

One Of These Days + Time Intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-25qasTs7k
Anyone recognize what shows these are? Worth uploading here?

EDIT: footage is a match for 1987-xx-xx Mystery Date: http://yeeshkul.com/forum/showthread...d-Mystery-Date

On The Turning Away is the same as on Mizzoora Blooz. That DVD looks miles better than what could ever be pulled from this VHS.
For a quick reference, here's someone else's youtube upload: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-Ahap9ALz8

The only parts of the footage I haven't matched are Terminal Frost and One Of These Days>Time.

Second unknown clip finally finished encoding. I left a bit on either side to show how jarringly this tape was edited. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-25qasTs7k

Because my curiosity is insatiable, I thought I'd try to de-tangle this further using the available audio / video sources.
    video:
    1987-11-16 : Mizzoora Blooz (BWHI-LRG-DVD-09) http://yeeshkul.com/forum/showthread...hi-lrg-dvd-09)
    1987-xx-xx : Mystery Date http://yeeshkul.com/forum/showthread...d-Mystery-Date
    audio:
    1987-11-15 : All Cardinals Are Pink http://yeeshkul.com/forum/showthread...re-Pink-MCD044
    1987-11-16 : Wojtek low gen http://yeeshkul.com/forum/showthread...11-16-St-Louis

1: The Wojtek source for 1987-11-16 is a match for my VHS - weird cuts and fades and all. Obvious telltale signs are in One of These Days and Time (you can hear like a half-second of Time during the OoTD fade-in, and there's an obvious cut to a different recording at 1:43. There's even a fade out/fade in that matches the dropout on my tape. I can only conclude that this audio was ripped from a VHS somewhere in the same lineage as mine. This audio source has a nasty buzz throughout, so both Mizzoora Blooz and my VHS are a upgrade compared to what's in that release. I've already done 24/96 transfers of both the normal and hi-fi tracks from my tape, will do some comparisons against the existing DVD to see if it's favorable.

    2. Terminal Frost, One of These Days, and Time (intro) on my VHS are a match for both Mystery Date and All Cardinals Are Pink, save for some speed differences. So, assuming the date on All Cardinals Are Pink is correct, the "Mystery Date" (and the source of OOTD + Time (intro) on my VHS and 1987-11-16 Wojtek low gen) is 1987-11-15.

    So, mystery solved?

edit: To keep this information with the releases I added posts to the relevant threads.
