Amazon (US or UK) has a very good return/replacement policy. They'll probably send you replacement w/o asking you to return the defective set and if they do, they'll send you a pre-paid return label. I don't worry about return or exchange from Amazon.

Being Italian, I find comfortable to order from Amazon Italy, of course, mainly for the fact that I can change easily products eventually damaged within the national postal system (it happened once in many years of use, though). It's bizarre that the various Amazon .fr. .it. .de have the same goods at different prices, and often even if I order from one of them I receive the goods from one of the others. I had some problems with Amazon UK, though, because they once asked me to pay the shipping expenses to replace a damage object, but they were higher than the price of the object itself, so I was forced to take it (reading the above comments it seems that maybe that policy is changed, anyway).

I see no reason why they wouldn't.
Years ago, when I had a PO box, I regularly had orders shipped to it from Amazon, so I would think that their UK incarnation of Amazon would do the same.
