Looks and sounds great to me. You can hear him playing and there are some good angles on him. I'm not too familiar with the backstory on this so can't really say more. It's a wacky version of IO, they start with a jam and much later does the IO riff start to come through. Seems reasonably complete as they show him setting up and tuning with David; I think however the later portion of the song goes to credits and b-roll of the festival, however there is a good amount of performance footage. It was late when I watched it, so I don't rightly recall.
Nah, it's a reference to scenes in the More film... shows how many people have actually watched the film
Very pleased with some of the new audio on this. The Capital Studios tracks are amazing. John Latham is utterly odd, and fantastically coherent. Only had a quick chance to sample the first 5 discs so far...![]()
I thought Moonhead was fine, but I otherwise agree with you. The sound quality is the pits compared to other circulating versions of the same tracks.
Does your copy of track 02, Scarecrow have an annoying, nearly painful whistling on the track? I could barely listen to the thing.
A bit of a let down after the first CD (Cambridge Station, 1967) knocked my socks off.
I shifted to 1969 Dramatisation for a palate cleanser, specifically the Man and Journey Suite. So much better. No complaints. Whew.

Are the arty shots of the sea and sky missing from the St Tropez footage of GitC?
