Default Specul/ation: How much are the individual year sets going to cost?

As the individual years break down into editions that have different numbers of discs they amount to three different packages.

    1) Germin/ation, Reverber/ation, Obfusc/ation

    These sets comprise 1 CD, 1 DVD, 1 Blu-Ray 40

    2) Cambridge St/ation, Dramatis/ation

    These sets comprise 2CD, 1 DVD, 1 Blu-Ray 50

    3) Devi/ation

    2 CD, 2 DVD, 1 Blu-Ray 60

These tentative priced are what I think the market will bear, and add up to 280 which is still 100 less than the box cost (not forgetting the omission of Continu/ation).

I can honestly see them sticking another 10 on each set so as thay are not "cheaper" than the box.

Regarding the Amougies footage, it's true that the image taken from the "Music Power" film is great.
BUT I discovered that the music is a semi-tone too low. It is very surprising because usually, when film material is transferred to video, there is a slight speed increase and the music goes higher by a semi-tone (this is what happened with the 2003 Pompeii Director's Cut DVD). But here, the music is too low (not too high).

Could someone explain a reason why the transfer from the film did not respect the music tonality? And why it resulted in a decrease of tonality?

My guess is that they did a "speeddown" due to 25 Pal vs 29,97 NTSC.

Did you check the DVD or the BD? My second guess is that they differ. The DVD has NTSC 29,97 frames, the BD is 23,976 or 24 frames.

We have the opposite problem when we transfer a 24p movie to Pal which ends up in a 6% speedup which ends into a slightley higher tone.

    Best,
    Nils

Has anyone written to customerserviceteam@warnermusic.com about their defective disc or discs and received a response yet? I wrote Saturday over the weekend and haven't heard anything back yet. I know it's only Monday but I'm being a little impatient and curious if anyone has had any development on this front.

    Cheers

No response for me yet, emailed them on Saturday.

An automated "we got your email" response would be nice ...

[off topic] Do you mean that the DVD from your DSotM Immersion box does not play anymore?
