Thanks for the answer! My BD, probably, hasn't finally died - it gives the choice of the menu, but doesn't allow to choose for listening 5.1 or 4.0. However, I can't make installation of audio for system 5.1 as at me it is connected by a stereo 2.0.
But any other BD of audio of later edition allows me to choose 5.1 and 4.0.

Defective discs are not recognised by any player, they are black screen dead. The message my player gives is "Unrecognised Disc".

Thanks for answers! Now I precisely understand that I shouldn't change my BD.

So after reading this thread on the weekend I popped my disc in and it won't launch.

Sent it off this morning to the address in the auto-reply email.

Will be interesting to see how long it takes to get to the UK all the way from Australia, and then back again.

I've just had my replacement discs hand delivered by a young lady from the replacement programme. I'm only a few miles from their distribution unit so I think it was a really nice gesture to deliver them in person. When the doorbell rang and I opened the door I could see what was in her hand, two disc size card envelopes held together with an elastic band. "Tony ?" she said, I nod. "Here's your replacement discs, apologies for the delay" I couldn't thank her enough. I was, as some might say Gobsmacked.

Apparently, for the tidy sum of $50,000, Kiss's Gene Simmons would personally hand-deliver his 2017 rarities boxset directly to your front door.
