It's inevitable, with so many rockers aging.
The next 10-20 years are going to bring more of these sad news stories, with increasingly regularity.
    Now, he's with Keith.

    Default In Shock....

I'm very sad to have heard this. ELP are honestly one of my favorite prog bands and I've always been happy to admit it.

Material like the studio version of Lucky Man, complete with that great guitar solo, Take a Pebble, Knife Edge, Tarkus (esp. Stones of Years, Mass, and Battlefield), Oh My Father, Trilogy, Karn Evil 9, I Believe in Father Christmas, and especially KC's music changing debut will always be some of my favorite music released by anyone.

We've lost a special songwriter, really good guitarist/bassist, and one special vocalist to the ages. At least his wonderful music will be out there forever.

This news has made me very sad and I hope his family are being able to cope somehow.

Just to think, less than a year ago we lost Keith and Greg .

    Sincerely,

    Joel

Thank you for sharing this info. Not a bad track either, everyone who likes ELP and/or KC should grab this.
