    Default Youtube Video Extraction

Does anyone know how to extract videos from youtube, but retain their full, original quality? I have tried numerous programs, browser extensions - but nothing retains the quality of the original clip.

The clip in question is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt3r...layer_embedded

If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it!

Grab the URL (right click when playing video, paused) then go to keepvid.com. Paste, hit download and you can choose the quality or format. Some folks have had issues with that site but it has always worked well for me. Good luck whatever you use! 😀

Thank you everyone! I managed to grab a clean rip of the video. If anyone watched the video, I was the one who asked Nick about live Animals footage/audio at around 55:30.

What tool or program did you use...?

I've been looking for a new alternative. I've been using this but prefer something that you don't need to download the software - i'm running out of space on my drive: http://www.freemake.com/free_video_downloader/
