Nice find! Don't think I've seen those PF pics. Looks like Syd is hard at work, wearing his Piper shirt.

Thanks for posting! I enjoyed looking through the pictures and a nice story behind them as well.

Very cool! Surreal to look at. I often wonder what I would have experienced if I was born a decade or two sooner. On the one hand... being there! On the other... Some moments are fleeting. The sound at some of these early concerts was full on terrible! I wonder what I would have walked away with vs the front row seats modern technology gives us for select events. (Or even the "bad seats" from some of the more challenged audience recordings.)

    Default Wow, these are great.

I'd love to hear a first person account from someone who attended. Did they have any inkling that this was an iconic event, or did it seem like a run of the mill rock show? In any event, these photos are extremely interesting today. Thanks for sharing.

Those people chatting behind the amps are like "can you talk louder? I can't hear you over Eric Clapton's guitar"

great stuff. such an unregulated time.

That's what I was getting at. Would I have actually taken in that show if I was there and 18 years old? Or would the whole thing have flown over my head or been too garbled to hear properly in parts of the room?
