    Default 1976 Radio Broadcasts?

I just finished reading Mark Blakes PF book.

In it, he mentions "Pink Floy's sole advertising for the [summer 1976] tour was a syndicated live PF show, broadcast in major cities in advance of the tour"

    what was this? any info?

Also, what became of Capitol Radio's THE PINK FLOYD STORY broadcast beginning in Dec 1976? This was also discussed in the book. Apparantly it contained lots of interviews with the band, and an unedited tape from Water's DSOTM recordings of Roget The Hat.

Maybe I'm blind, but I haven't seen or heard these things anywhere.

You can find a better quality recording of the famous Roger "The Hat" Manifold interview here:

thanks for the link to the Hat interview.

But am I reading the book wrong?

what about the mention in the book about a summer 1975 radio broadcast of a live show? I cannot believe a radio b'cast would go unrecorded by someone.

and what became of the 6-part Capitol Radio program on PF featuring, presumably, interviews with all of them from that year?

just curious. and I know this is the place to ask.

Perhaps not helping but Tony Barrell (Ex Pathe Newsreel (Yes he was at Scarecrow Filming) then Radio later), Tony interviewed Roger Waters he said to me in 1976 but it was never broadcast (2 hours long on R2R. Tony died before I ever got a copy and it was too soon to write to his daughter and now I have no contact details. I think lost and wonder if this is the missing broadcast? Though it never was so maybe we are missing 1975 doco as well.

The 1975 broadcast might have been Wembley 74? - First broadcast Jan 75 in the UK, not sure if it was broadcast in US.

I'm seeding the Capital Radio PF Story on this torrent:
