    Default RIP Eddie Van Halen

I don't know if we do many of these on Yeeshkul, but I think it is appropriate to observe the passing of guitar monster Eddie Van Halen.

Saw him perform four times. What a talent. Condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

Rest well Eddie. One of my favorite performances of his is with Roger Waters oddly enough. His playing on Lost Boys Calling is stunning.

Never was quiet my style of music though he certainly was a genius and I got a thrill out of some of his live guitar playing for sure.
I could have saw them live around 1983 and I very much regret not going, it just was not my cup of tea exactly but knowing now how amazing they were live I really regret missing that chance.
