Upload speed

Apologies for the page-one question in advance, but I can't even remember the last time I opened Utorrent, let alone downloaded...anyway, I seem to recall it's good practice to limit the download speed and/or increase upload speed once you start seeding. Or am I misremembering completely?

I'm unsure if my technical speculation on this is correct, but as far as I can see, once you have the torrent already fully downloaded, the download speed should no longer be a factor, which will free up your bandwidth to be dedicated to uploading.
Of course, upload speeds are inherently considerably slower than download speeds on all ISPs, unless you're one of the lucky ones with fiber.

I have never resorted to this option and I have never had any complaints about uTorrent
