    Default TER Film Alternate Mix?

I've just checked the YouTube video of the extract of the Endless River Film from the Later Years box set, and it appears that it's a different mix? For 'Calling', around 0:45 there's some added sound effects and an extra synth (same kind of thing as heard in the last couple of seconds of TBS14) and at 1:00 there's a slightly extended section. The track listing on the video compared to the CD suggests a full 50 seconds extra in the film version. Does the whole thing have a remix, or is it a mix taken from the surround sound version, or something else? I was under the impression that it was just the same as the CD version but obviously not.

I also noticed this when I watched the film. I actually really enjoyed the film and it's a shame it didn't get the fanfare it deserved.

I watched this a few days ago and remembered this thread. I checked both the stereo mix and surround sound mix from the Blu Ray in the film and both are identical to the CD mix. Same length too. Must be something unique to the youtube upload, because it is definitely longer, with an extra section from about 0:45-1:10 and 3:08-3:35.

but it is different in some elements, not in length .. and only some details ... it is a hard disk to memorize as well as to locate the differences

Are you referring to the youtube or the DVD/Blu Ray version?

If you mean the youtube - Calling is definitely longer. 4:27 long in the youtube and 3:37 on the CD/DVD/Blu Ray. It's not hard to locate the differences either. As I said above, 0:45-1:10 and 3:08-3:35 in the youtube are edited out of the CD/DVD/BR version.

If you mean the CD/DVD/Blu Ray version - Calling is exactly the same shortened version in each. No difference in length or content. You can drop them each in a simple DAW like Audacity and see that for yourself.

Thanks for confirming. Is there extra video too on the YouTube upload, or is it just sourced from a different part of the film?

Sorry, I only ripped and compared the audio. I did not watch the video. Too much of people jogging in slow motion for me!
