I downloaded a collection of reel to reel master tapes copied to DSD128 from my "Comrades" for free of course.

The source if I remember correctly were RTR master tapes sent to a European country for cutting vinyl though details were purposely vague.

The collection consisted of DSOTM, WYWH, Animals, The Wall and The Final Cut.

The Final Cut does not contain When The Tigers Broke Free so its the original track list. Decent DR as well.

The total file size is 24.2 GB.

Maybe Sigma used the same sources and reduced them down to CDs.

I curated those back in April 2020. Maybe more of the early releases have been released. I'll check when I get a chance.

A quick search on Ummagumma doesn't show anything like the sources you mention Mark so it is likely from a different source.

My first thought was Neonknight’s cassette transfers. I hope I’m wrong.

clarification: I haven’t actually heard these sigma releases… or nk’s tapes, for that matter.

I have located a set of 6 DSD128 files where AMLOR is included with the collection listed above, equating to 24.2 GB

Nice. I once located the same and downloaded it. I left off AMLOR in my description which was included in the 24.2 collection. Can you please PM me your source link as several persons have asked me for links.

    Thank you in advance.

That was my first thought when these started appearing too. Fortunately there are no matches and I feel confident that everybody who has joined in with that project has done so in a positive way, either keeping the recordings for themselves or just sharing them with friends.
