can be considered sources.
They aren't in Liberated subforum for this reason.
Fifty UP was seeded because the vinyl maker said that used new sources, so was shared for check if it's real.
I don't see all this flexibility.

anyways... I would add that, since we are talking of analog media, we can make 100 transfers from the same vinyl LP and they would all have some differences while none of them can really be a true "clone" of the vinyl itself.
If we also add that different vinyl transfers might have been made with different turntable/cartridge/preamp/soundcard then there are even more differences to keep into consideration.

while, i.e., downloading a (digital) torrent from here, putting on CD and then rip it again will still be a duplicated of what was just here in the first moment or, worse, with some "errors" added during the whole CD production and also the CD rip process.

but, in general, analog media (vinyl, tape) and "clones" aren't words which can stay into the same sentence.

From the description of the tape source here the vinyl has an extra 20 seconds or so of content here and there, may or may not someday prove useful to someone doing a restoration project who wants to fill in all gaps.
