Default Matilda Mother live take with Alternate Studio take vocals

I had a quick bit of fun with that x-minus.pro website mentioned in another thread and made a neat little mix of the Stockholm 67 Matilda Mother but with vocals from the alternate studio take.

It's not perfect but it's cool, IMO.

Yes. Soundcloud pulled it due to copyright.

This it a neat idea. I've thought of it too. It might also be possible to isolate Scream Thy Last Scream and See Emily Play vocals and mix them with the Stockholm live audio. The instruments sounds really good, so it would be nice to hear the show with added vocals. STCFTHOTS sounds pretty fine as it is with quite audible vocals.
Oh and by the way, your mix of MM sounds quite nice, it only needs a bit of tweaking

Nice idea, yeah, See Emily Play would be great to hear.

EDIT, now I've had a listen, I think this superb. Yeah the audiophiles will say it's an "outfake", but I couldn't care less. Just to hear Syd is a blessing.

    Thanks.

I've had that idea quite some time ago aswell.
Back in 2009 I made a version of King Crimson's Morgan Studio take of "Schizoid Man" where I dubbed the Vocals from the 5.1 mix of the master take onto.

The sync of vocals and music is, to be honest, not good.
But the idea has a lot of potential.
Same could be done with VPRO Recording from august 1969.
OK, with that one there would only be a scream in CWTAE and vocals for STC to be added.

Would be a cool project, just make sure and keep everything lossless in the process

Actually, while not perfect I found the sync to be pretty good. It could be easily improved. If you post the two elements on the Google drive a few others could have a whack at it and I bet we'd end up with a great version. As is this is really nice to hear.

Here is a link to the files. Fair warning they are both lossy.

I did this as a bit of fun, but if others find the time to venture into this, I am sure the results can be rather stellar.

    Thanks for the interest
