Thank you Simon, i very much appreciate your kind offer but we worked out trade (I will send him book). Post is pretty much still working thankfully, just all payment options frozen.

I can confirm too that book should be groundbreaking. I haven't seen the text, but i had been in touch with Ian since he started work on it and we had been exchanging bits of info.

As far as I was concerned, this was a book that just had to be written. It became the perfect pandemic project – something I could get really stuck into when, at first, in April 2020, we all had to stay at home much of the time. Later, when visits and interviews in person became possible, people were more than happy to open up and give their support.

When Phil joined me as co-author, things jumped to another level and I am really confident that you will find his analysis and the light he sheds on the band's musical approach, fascinating. As the text developed and deepened, we became the perfect team. Phil knew just what to ask an engineer, for example, and his appreciation of the recordings I was putting in front of him was often well beyond mine. I, on the other hand, had the contacts and was able to establish many new facts. I also had some incredible strokes of luck.

I have just had word from Charles that the limited edition hard backs are selling quickly, so it would probably be best to take the plunge soon if you are drawn to the strictly limited edition signed hardback copy.
