Default Bristol Hippodrome 14th Dec 1974

A gentleman by the name of 'radiosjohn' uploaded a Lindisfarne bootleg from 1972 on Dime today, in the blurb he says...

"That reminds me I must do that 1974 Pink Floyd concert I recorded next"

I asked him which concert in the comments, and he replied "Bristol 14th Dec '74", I asked him if he knew about Y, so I'm awaiting a response but I'm wondering which version this may be?

    Quick update.

He's aware of Yeeshkul and seems happy to consider passing the recording along, he's a long-time taper and has other PF solo recordings of interest too but also a lot of digitization of old masters to get through.

I messaged back to say I was sure that he could get help with the transfers/mastering from someone over here.

Hopefully this tape gets released soon, as this would be the first uncirculated concert release in a while from the middle years.
    Concerts:

    Roger Waters - Philadelphia, 2017.

Ozzy Osbourne - Camden, NJ, 2018.

In terms of uncirculated, I'm wondering if it might be this -

    Pink Floyd
1974-12-14 Colston Hall Bristol Somerset England (T-308)

I got the cassette tapes for this in trade from a guy in England in 1975 or 1976. I don't know the generation but I believe it is low. The main problem with the source tapes is that the left channel drops out several times in the show. This happens the worst during SOYCD and You've Got To Be Crazy. This was most likely due to a bad mic connection while making the original recording. I have never heard another version that doesn't have this same problem. I used the right channel for both when there was a loss of the left channel. I've also fixed a nagging little edit problem at about the 12:00 point of SOYCD. You probably won't be able to tell exactly where unless you compare different versions with this one very closely. SOYCD and Any Colour You Like were split between sides on the cassettes so I put them back together. There is a crackeling noise in a couple of places just before the cassette tape runs out.

This has always been one of my favorite shows even with the problems. The audience was very quiet and respectful something that just doesn't happen anymore.

A few years ago I did another transfer of these tapes to CD-r. I traded it one time. There are at least two other versions of this show available on CD-r, one is called Heavy Fog in Bristol. I've checked it out and it is from that first tape to CD-r transfer I did a few years ago. The other is Brainwaves Coherence Bristol I haven't heard it but suspect it is a clone of the Heavy Fog version. I'm starting to feel like I'm competing with myself.

Unfortunately, I misread and thought you meant the 14th of November which is a missing show.

This is one of the all-time great Pink Floyd performances, particularly from the Dark Side era on forward, so I'm eager to see this happen and would (selfishly) love to see this particular show given a very high priority.

Either a master transfer of the recorder we know, or a new recorder, would be most welcome! Thanks in advance to radiosjohn.

still, even if the date is circulating, this does not mean it cannot be a huge improvement to the existing!
also, he did mention other recordings he had made as well.
Hope Softdog can convince him to share his original tapes with one of our professionals.
@Softdog: even if we cannot get him to share his recordings with someone on here to work on, could you get him to tell you which dates he recorded, and if he shared them before since then?
