How about some crowd funding by the Yeeshkul Community? We could buy this property and make it a place for us (i.e. the 'Floyd Memorial Home'). ;-)

I like the color palette and decor. Way better than Polly's lyrics.

    That's some intriguing news.

They've had that house for just a couple of years. It was finished very recently.

Why would they sell something that still smells like new? Well, there may be several good reasons. But still, they spent a couple years rebuilding it, it's still very new, and they're now selling it. Weird.

It’s a shame about the neighbours. For £15m I’d expect a bit of privacy.

I wouldn't touch this pad with a barge poll at 15 mill.
Something has gone wonky I reckon.
The paint is still wet inside.
Maybe the smell of chip oil from next door!

I assume they still own that 5 story home that was nearby, so it's odd that he would sell that beautiful, custom made Medina recording studio that's connected to the new mansion. The listing says it's included in the sale.

He recorded most of his last few albums in it, but has also has the barn studio and the Astoria.

I'm just staggered by the 15 million price tag. I suspect this will not sell for anything near the sale price. I left the UK 12 years ago and prices in London were already insane... I see it's now spread to the rest of the country. How on earth can anyone afford to buy property there anymore?

Also, doesn't anyone else find it a shade suspicious that this architect "gave the house to them" because he was "fed up with being refused planning permission"? No, that doesn't happen... not for a property that's now worth 15 million quid. That part had me raising an eyebrow or two. Maybe they're trying to shift it before the tax man comes knocking? Also, if the original owner was so fed up being refused planning permission all the time - how on earth did they manage to get permission to complete the work after?

    Still, good luck to them.
